A simple project to pay attention to the “Yellow” of this world has and is breathing life into me.

Story of Yellow is simply about Love.

Love God and Love People. It’s as natural as breathing in and out. This is the main, overarching core value of why I do anything. These values are not necessarily to grant me a more comfortable life, but a more purposeful life.

However, Love is not easy. It’s full of nuances that can be easily looked over. Love liberates.

In order to Love, we need to understand our identity, our significance. This search for significance is actually the discovery of significance. We are already significant and no matter what we do, it can’t be taken away. How we see ourselves needs a divine perspective. We are not fragile but precious. We are a child of God. We are beloved.

As we discover our significance, our purpose, our destiny, we need to respond. Respond by taking steps toward a destination even in the fog of uncertainty. And if and only when, Love is the motivator can we move closer to the destination. With each small step, the destination will be more visible.

This purpose naturally reveals the core values needed to move towards it. Story of Yellow is Simple, Authentic, Personal, Generous and Responsive.

Simple in being Lean. Authentic in being true. Personal in being intentional. Generous because it’s Divine. Responsive rather than reactive.

The metrics of success is measured in the counting of stories that exudes the essence of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control.

This is my daily prayer.

Dear God,
Simply draw me close.
Reveal the “why” of me.
Awaken my senses to the Beauty.
Bring light to the next steps I need to take.
Equip me to be focused, intentional and purposeful.
Grant me boldness and freedom, in knowing nothing will separate us.
Remind me that I am invited to engage in the story.
May I never think higher of me than I ought.
May I strive for Excellence measured in my faithfulness.
Teach me to serve in the overflow, rather than to fill my cup.
Align my heart with yours.
Lead me to love people as you have loved me.
